About the FTP clients


Adobe GoLive has two FTP clients:
  • Use the FTP tab in the site window for uploading and updating Web sites; it works with a set of commands that permit incremental uploading and downloading, one-step exporting and uploading, and so on. You can also use the FTP tab for general-purpose file transfer.
  • Use the FTP browser for general-purpose file transfer.

    • Both clients list the files and folders in the current FTP directory along with file size, modification date, and file type. The FTP File Inspector and FTP Folder Inspector provide further information about individual files and folders.
